Day three was really hard because I haven't slept yet. As far as I'm concerned it's still Tuesday and I'm likely to be up all day today as well. We delved into the reading wars which I find very interesting. I don't remember learning phonics in Nigeria but rather learning whole words and reading in a contextualized environment. I remember we had reading level books and I was so excited to move up on the levels and was always ahead of my reading level. Good times! I'm looking forward to tomorrow when I will be more rested.

I met and introduced Becky today who is an ENFJ and worked in Camden, New Jersey for the past three years. She LOVED IT and can't wait to go back. She's in educational leadership program. We also went over Shark Attack and Justin read to me and seemed to be cracking himself up the whole time.

I can't believe orientation has only been three days! It seems like longer but I'm having fun. It's helping me get out of bed at the same time everyday. I can't wait to meet the kids!

So today is the second day of my "Reading Buddies" orientation here at Teacher's College and I'm really excited! I almost want to just get out there with the kids and start reading but I know we have to take things slowly and get ourselves prepared. Yesterday I took another Myer's Briggs test and not surprisingly, I’m still an INFJ. I've been that way for the past 8 years and I'm assuming that I'm going to be this way for a while to come. Everytime I take the test I come up the same way but I think on some of my dominant functions I’m moving more towards the center and picking up some skills from the opposite function. As far as multiple intelligences go I am exactly what I think I am, which makes sense since I’m self-smart. I’m also word, music and people smart.
